Coto Ríos is a cosy and quiet village, built in the second half of XXth century to take in the neighbours from others villages and cortijos when the Coto National (national reserve) was created. It´s an ideal place to get in touch with the environement, visit the recreational areas and enjoy the beautiful and unequalled views from their viewpoints.
The Embalse del Tranco is a beautiful reservoir inaugurated in 1947. From the head of the reservoir to the road you can enjoy wonderful views from the Sierra de Segura y Las Villas.
One of the most beautiful views are the Islas de Bujaraiza and Cabeza de la Viña; in the first stands out the primitives remains of the arabic castle, with a large fortified tower. |
